To put a link into an HMO Community forum, type the text that people will click on first, then highlight it. You can either use the URL as your link text or some description.

There are two ways to highlight it:
- Click your mouse at one end of the text and drag across to the other end before releasing the mouse button.
- Instead, you can try triple-clicking somewhere in the line. On most browsers, this will highlight the whole line or paragraph.
Once you have something highlighted, the insert/edit link icon will be active (looks like a couple of links of a chain):
Click the button and a small dialog box will appear:
Paste the URL you want into the box labelled "Link URL" then click on "Insert" or press your "Enter" key.
This will make your link a clickable one.
